The National Accountability Ordinance, 1999

*(ORDINANCE NO. XVIII OF 1999)

[24th September, 1999]

An Ordinance to provide for the setting up of a National Accountability Bureau so as to eradicate corruption and corrupt practices and hold accountable all those persons accused of such practices and matters ancillary thereto;

32.     Appeal [1][and revision]. (a) Any [2][person convicted or the Prosecutor General Accountability, if so directed by [3][the Chairman] NAB,] aggrieved by the final judgment and Order of the Court under this Ordinance may, within [4][thirty] days of the final judgment and order of the [5][xxx] Court prefer an appeal to the High Court [6][under whose jurisdiction] the Court is situated [7][:]

[8][Provided that no appeal shall lie against any interlocutory order of the Court.]

(b)     All appeals against the final Judgment [9][xxx] filed before the High Court will be heard by a Bench of not less than two Judges constituted by the Chief Justice of the High Court [10][The provisions contained in Section 426 of the Code shall apply mutatis mutandis in case of an appeal filed against order of Conviction.]

[11][(c) No revision shall lie against any interlocutory order of the Court.]
